Appearance: Cookie always looks like she's just shuffling out of bed, and would still be wrapped in a blanket if it were an option. She's rarely seen out of hoodies three times her size, sleeves dangling well past her waist. She gazes out at the world through the porthole of her cinched hoods with sleepy, but sharp eyes. Shorts and skirts are a year-round affair for her, though after frequent enough complaints from her mom about catching cold, she's at least started pairing them with long socks. She's used the same canvas bag for years. Most kids probably would have tossed it ages ago, but she's held on stubbornly and mended it with a variety of sew-on patches, the oldest of which have even started to peel. Her favourite hoodie is in better shape despite having also been in circulation for years. Though it's still oversized, she's begun to grow into it, and seems to have gained a few inches over the summer.

Personality: Cookie, known as Chrissy to her parents, is an odd duck. She's quiet, but not shy. Bold, but not daring. For all her lethargy, she's wide awake to the world ticking around her, and she's noting down the interesting bits for later. Cookie's good at collecting interesting things in general. She knows how to get kids the things they want -- for a price. To her credit, it's usually a fair one, though she's been known to adjust the rates according to who she likes. Still, she's always reliable, and amiable enough that most kids don't mind dealing with the uncertain Cookieconomy.

It's a bit unpredictable what Cookie will find valuable. Most of the stuff kids trade her winds up back in circulation eventually. The rest feeds her magpie tendencies. Snacks and lunch money are safe bets (though she is a picky eater), but she's got a taste for the esoteric as well. Spooky movies, occult paraphernalia and interesting stones are all within her wheelhouse, though subject to her taste and discretion. Meteorites are always a big hit. She's more excited to see a space rock than she is most people, though as a bit of a loner, the bar probably isn't that high.

Cookie doesn't talk about herself much. Even if she did, she probably wouldn't admit to being a little superstitious, though she would cede that was a very Virgo quality. She checks the Horoscopes daily, though she's particular about her sources. The stuff she does read is interesting astrological insight. The stuff she doesn't read is drivel and nonsense just looking to pull one over on people reading out of boredom. Once a kid who diligently avoided stepping on any sidewalk cracks, she's gotten a little better about her superstitions over time... or perhaps just more sophisticated. She knows the tarot, the energy properties of most common stones, an assortment of occult signs and sigils, and of course the most important details of all Sinjoh-region cryptids and legends.

Background/History: Cookie appeared on the Blackbell Elementary scene in Senior Kindergarten, whereupon her real name was immediately forgotten in favour of her favourite snack. Her only snack, actually - whatever her mom sent her with for lunch would inevitably be traded up by the end of the day for some chocolate-chipped crumbly goodness. The nickname stuck with her through the years, and so did the art of the deal.

All her growing up has happened mostly without incident. For a girl that sometimes seems to be sleepwalking through life, she does surprisingly well in school. Her homework answers are top trading, and reliable to boot. Teachers don't quite know what to make of her, seeing a bright child balanced precariously on the knife's edge of the kind of behavioural issues that come with always wearing a hoodie and sitting in the back of the class. Resultingly, Cookie knows exactly how much she can get away with before they stop tiptoeing around her - it keeps her operations going, anyway.

She still lives in the same house she moved into when she and her mom came to the Sinjoh region, a cozy but crooked little thing that's right next door to Raury's.

Starter Pokemon: Ralts (Gardevoir)
Name: Polaris (Polly)
Personality: Quiet and shy, Polly can most often be found riding in Cookie's hood, or otherwise hiding somewhere in one of her spacious pockets. She's as attached to Cookie as Cookie is to her, and doesn't like to be too far apart. Like most Ralts, she's quite sensitive to the people around her, and tries to communicate what she sees as well as she can. Unlike most Ralts, she likes to organize things neatly when no one is looking.
Met: A gift from Cookie's mom to celebrate her 13th birthday.

Starter Pokemon: A-Meowth
Name: Aurora (Rora)
Personality: You can kind of tell this Meowth came from more boisterous stock. It's got a swaggering confidence, a love for the spotlight, and a bit of a mean streak. Nevertheless, Aurora's quite protective of both Cookie and Ralts, a big-sister cat that sometimes acts like she wants to show both of them the ropes, and occasionally the stuff she's picked out of other people's pockets.
